I propose an exchange in a liminal space between matter and immateriality where participants will be able to select an object of their preference to which I will give a pataphysical quality to make it a poetic artifact. In exchange, I request the donation of an invisible piece whose technique - air over idea - will be manifested in a certificate of authenticity that I will provide you. Welcome to this exchange of matter for intention.

The La Boca dam located in Santiago Nuevo León, Mexico, is one of the tributaries that supply water to the city of Monterrey. The water crisis of 2022 caused this tourist site to increasingly suffer the consequences of the drought. The action consisted of inviting the inhabitants of the surroundings of the dam who make a living from tourism but also those with activities such as fishing, bird watching, etc. and in general to all those who interact with the place, to carry out a collective contemporary ritual that would thank the rain. Through talks and approaches, I asked people about their concept of ritual and encouraged them to participate in a collective offering. With flowers we build a spiral and then we take the flowers to the water to thank the end of the drought.

Espejo humeante, videoperformance/instalation 2022

It is my participation in the Mirror Altars of the Ceremony for the renewal of the world of the Wixárika people, convened on March 18, 2022 to care for and defend life in the desert of Wirikuta, Mexico. That day, more than 300 mirror altars were presented simultaneously on the 5 continents. The image of the stone circle is the top of Cerro Quemado, the sacred Xeunar mountain where, according to its cosmogony, the sun was born and the place where the ceremony was performed. The image with the circle of objects collected in the garbage dump of Real de Catorce is the installation that was my proposal together with a performance action. RESUME: A work carried out in the burned forest of Arteaga Coahuila, México in a pandemic year, where infra-light acts of tenderness are proposed that the body performs outwards and to itself, as an action of reparation, starting from the basis that the Earth is a metonymy of the body and that when we talk about pandemic or natural disasters (caused or not) we are actually talking about the same thing since thought is involuntarily associated with the word extinction.

“Looking for heat, we have set everything on fire. I, living, drift into the vast blackness that was left of what was fire yesterday, my eyes are open and like a wet gauze, the darkness sticks to my pupils. I am aware of it, and therefore I can "see" darkness, I perceive darkness, I am darkness. In my skin there is an artifact of magnification that causes an enveloping effect, which translates reality inter-sensorially and presents me magnified things that arrive all at once and go through my body with thousands of combinations. There are fragments suspended around, parts of everything that we were, destroyed and rebuilt, over and over again. Earth is a metonym for the body. As if it were a point in a hologram, we carry within our singularity, not only all humanity, all life, but also the entire cosmos, including its mystery. And I, living, do not want to rush to put the pieces together. I have a clear objective: I seek voluntarily and consciously, an iridescent black gold, to repair my cracks and the cracks of the world. Tenderness is not in a hurry ”.
